BigRep Reintroduces Large-Scale 3D Printer Updated ONE.5
At Formnext BigRep unveils its "workhorse for large-format application."
November 20, 2024
BigRep announces the upgraded BigRep ONE.5 at Formnext 2024 in Frankfurt, Germany. The new ONE.5 incorporates the latest features found in BigRep's newest printers. These include advanced dual PEX2 extruders, expanded material compatibility with two print bed options, an intuitive user interface, and a new price point.
Highlight Features of the BigRep ONE.5
Dual PEX2 Extruders
The BigRep ONE.5 boosts production with up to 40% higher flow rate and supports a wider range of materials. The dual-drive feeding wheel setup includes wear-resistant diamond nozzles for printing with soft as well as carbon fiber reinforced materials. The PEX2 extruders have two modes: Single and Twin Mode, where the latter option can print simultaneously with both extruders.
Semi-Automated Print Bed
The semi-automatic print bed is upgraded with magnetic SWITCHPLATE options that are designed to handle a wider range of materials. Available in two variants, the SWITCHPLATE ensures adhesion for a wider range of filaments. The printer retains its integrated inductive sensor and semi-automatic bed leveling system for simplified calibration.
Remote Access and User-Friendly Interface
The user interface makes operation simple, plus remote features let you keep printing no matter where you are.
Secure and Spacious Filament Dry Box
The Keep Dry Box protects filaments from moisture and dust, ensuring optimal storage conditions for a longer period. It fits all standard spool sizes, including two spools up to 8 kg. An out-of-filament sensor pauses printing, allowing for easy spool replacement.
The new BigRep ONE.5 carries on the legacy of the decade-old ONE, delivering enhanced automation and performance in the original frame.
