The team also received its seventh consecutive ranking on the Inc 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America—only 1.5% of businesses have made this list seven times.
Michelle Mihevc, Co-Founder and Principal at FATHOM:

The patent relates to FATHOM’s internal and external platforms used to create price quotes for 3D objects with checkout option, including selection of units, materials, finish, and quantity of additively manufactured parts to be made.
FATHOM’s proven ecosystem of dynamic advanced manufacturing solutions has earned award-winning recognition year after year.
The team has also been recognized on the Inner City 100 list by ICIC as published in Fortune Magazine and the San Francisco Business Times’ Fast 100 list of fastest-growing private companies in the Bay Area.

“FATHOM’s culture, expertise, technologies, capabilities, quality, and customer service is driven by our strategic focus on our customers’ need for a complete experience from a brand they can trust and rely on to achieve impactful results. We’re grateful for this recognition and excited about what the future holds for FATHOM.”
FATHOM got its award-winning start selling and supporting enterprise-level 3D printing and additive manufacturing systems in 2008.
Co-founders Stump and Mihevc then opened a full-service additive manufacturing facility in 2012. FATHOM’s Seattle-based production center opened the following year.
Today, FATHOM’s team of experts specialize in additive and traditional manufacturing services (CNC machining, urethane casting, tooling, and injection molding), plus hybrid processes (blending additive with subtractive and formative methods to achieve results not previously possible). The company also offers industry-leading mechanical engineering and industrial design support, as well as on-site managed equipment services.
