RAPID + TCT 2025 is returning to Detroit’s Huntington Place April 8-10, 2025. Registration is now open.
This year’s event will include returning highlights such as the AM Pitchfest Competition, an expanded Discovery Zone and the Executive Perspectives Keynote Series, in which industry leaders share insights on the future of additive manufacturing (AM), tackling pressing challenges facing the industry.
“RAPID + TCT remains at the forefront of shaping the future of manufacturing, and in 2025, we're proud to take that mission even further,” says Steve Prahalis, chief operating officer at SME. “The colocation with industry-leading events and introduction of new features will give attendees an unparalleled opportunity to connect, collaborate and discover AM―the technology that defines the next generation of industrial innovation.”
In 2025, RAPID + TCT introduces several features designed to enhance the event experience. A dedicated Service Provider Pavilion will occupy part of the show floor, providing attendees the opportunity to connect with service providers specializing in advanced technologies, materials and processes. In addition, daily Show Floor Tours led by SME experts and RAPID + TCT ambassadors will provide an insider’s look at the latest in machinery, materials and software shaping the AM ecosystem.
Returning to RAPID + TCT 2025 will be the AM Pitchfest, where entrepreneurs, startups and academic spinoffs can present their emerging technological advancements, products and applications to a panel of AM experts for a chance to win an exhibition space at next year’s event along with additional recognition through SME Media.
Also returning is the Discovery Zone, where first-time exhibitors can demonstrate their products in a curated space on the show floor.
This year also marks a significant milestone with the colocation of RAPID + TCT alongside three other major industry events. These include SME’s AeroDef Manufacturing, centered around boosting the U.S. manufacturing supply chain and reinforcing U.S. national security; SAE’s World Congress Experience (WCX), focusing on innovations in advanced mobility; and America Makes’ Spring Technical Review & Exchange (TRX), sharing the institute's ongoing AM research and development within its contracted project efforts.
Register for the event here. Conference passes are also available now.
